Credit Suisse launches UK private banking app
18/04/2017 , News Team

Credit Suisse has launched a digital private banking app for UK wealth management clients, according to an internal memo seen by thewealthnet

The app aims to provide an enhanced client experience and convenient around-the-clock access to client portfolios. This will make it easier and faster for clients to respond to market developments using performance data, key market news and insights from the Credit Suisse investment strategy and research library, the memo said.

The new digital solution encourages client collaboration with relationship managers and the bank hopes it will help to drive growth for the bank's UK Private Banking business.

The UK app builds on the experience accumulated over the last two years following the roll-out of the digital platform in Asia. There has been collaboration between the bank’s innovation hub in Singapore, International Wealth Management chief operating officer and Credit Suisse UK for the launch of the UK app.

Key features of the UK app include:

  • An overview of portfolio groups and portfolio level performances, positions, allocations, transactions and cash activities.
  • A markets watchlist to track equities, bonds, commodities, currencies and funds.
  • A markets overview showing the latest global asset class performances.
  • Access to a library of Credit Suisse Investment Strategy & Research publications, recent Research Ratings, and the latest news articles from third party news providers.

Initially only available on the iPad, access will be gradually extended to other devices, including iPhones and web browsers. It will also be rolled out progressively across all client categories and user types. New features and enhancements will be released in phases.

Credit Suisse is headquartered in Zurich and operates in over 50 countries worldwide.
