Accountancy firm claims victory at LGT Vestra's Dodgeball tournament
05/05/2017 , Cityfly

Some 28 teams from across the UK financial services sector donned silly costumes and braved the weather conditions to take part in LGT Vestra's sixth annual charity dodgeball tournament yesterday (05/05/2017).

After a nail-biting finale, Saffery Champness' "PAC Attack" team claimed victory against the Threadneedle Dodgefathers, who in turn won the equally important title of "Best Dressed Team".

The PAM Panthers (pictured), whilst sadly not winning, put up a great fight winning three games, breaking their previous record.

Other participating firms include: Credit Suisse, Neuberger Berman, WDX, Lloyds, Polar Capital, Frank Hirth, Ernst & Young, Boodle Hatfield, Kames Caputal, T. Rowe Price, Winterlood, Westleton Drake, Victor, Peel Hunt, Tax Advisory Partnership, Artemis, Praemium, Buzzacott and AQR Capital Management.

The event, which was held at the Honourable Artillery Company in the City of London, was held in support of, and to raise money for, the Prince's Trust.

The Prince’s Trust is one of the UK’s leading youth charity. It helps disadvantaged and vulnerable young people aged 13 – 30 who are unemployed and those who are struggling at school. They may be in or leaving care, facing homelessness or mental health problems or have been in trouble with the law. Through a number of support programmes, The Prince’s Trust gives vulnerable young people the practical and financial support needed to stabilise their lives, build confidence and self-esteem and gain the skills for work.
