Schroders hires from Citi in reorganisation of private banking distribution in Asia
15/05/2017 , News Team

Zal Devitre, formerly with Citi, has joined Schroders as head of private banks distribution and global financial client group, Asia.

This is a newly created role after Schroders made the decision to combine its private bank distribution and global financial client group efforts in the region, to allow the firm to provide more holistic client coverage and also enable individuals to broaden their responsibilities.
Mr Devitre was hired to provide leadership to this combined team, Schroders noted.
He was formerly head of investments at Citibank in Singapore, where he had responsibility for investment research and products for Citibank's onshore wealth management business.
Mr Devitre will report to Showbhik Kalra, Schroders’ head of products, Asia Pacific, who is also located in Singapore.
