Multi-asset class investment manager PineBridge Investments has appointed Klaus Schuster as managing director of its UK office and head of Europe.
Mr Schuster will be responsible for business development activities across Europe in his new role, with full responsibility for the firm’s European business. Based in London, he will report to chief executive Greg Ehret who is based in New York.
Mr Schuster joined PineBridge 16 years ago and has worked his way from building financial adviser and intermediaries businesses at AIG to taking over as head of business development for Europe three and a half years ago. Prior to PineBridge, Mr Schuster held positions at Bank Leu and Fidelity Investments.
Meanwhile, Anthony King has informed PineBridge that he is to step down from his role as regional chief executive for EMEA and will be leaving the firm.
PineBridge Investments is a global asset manager with experience in emerging and developed markets and investment capabilities in multi-asset, fixed income, equities and alternatives. The firm manages $80.3 billion as at 31 March 2017.
