Swiss private bank acquires family office
11/07/2018 , News Team

Swiss banking group Eric Sturdza is acquiring Lagane, a Geneva family office, and merging it with its wealth management business in order to build up a “fourth pillar” in its spectrum of services.

Lagane will be integrated into the Sturdza independent asset manager Coges Corrateri Gestion, which was acquired five years ago.

Sturdza said it can better meet the needs of its clientele with family office services, which will be offered under the brand Coges Corraterie Gestion Wealth Management and Family Office.

The unit will be run independently by Michaela Zanello Sturdza, Stéphane Gibert and Jean-Pierre Lagane.

The family office becomes the fourth business unit of the group, after private banking, asset management and wealth management.  No financial details were given.
