Tilney appoints head of financial planning

Tilney has appointed Andy Grant as head of financial planning where he will be responsible for leading Tilney’s UK-wide financial planning business and developing and executing its growth strategy. 

Mr Grant has extensive senior management experience in financial services and insurance firms and joins Tilney from the British Business Bank where he served as chief operating officer. He was previously chief operating officer of Royal London and has also served as chief operating officer at insurance group Amlin. Prior to this he spent a decade at UBS, developing and executing strategy, latterly with UBS Wealth Management where he was a managing director with responsibility for growth and change in the UK market.

Tilney’s financial planning business comprises 208 client facing financial planners who operate from 30 office locations across the UK.

Headquartered in Mayfair, London, the Tilney Group employs over 1,100 staff across a network of 30 offices and has £24.1 billion assets under management.
