US boutique wealth advisory firm appoints managing director from Morgan Stanley

US boutique private banking firm Fieldpoint Private has appointed Cari B. Schnipper as managing director and senior advisor of its New York City office.

In her new role she will work with families on their financial and legacy planning, asset allocation, portfolio management, and banking and lending needs.

Ms Schnipper joins the firm following over 25 years with Morgan Stanley, where she managed approximately $150 million in client assets, and its predecessor firm, Citigroup’s Smith Barney unit which she joined in 1989. She is also a certified financial planner.

Headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut, Fieldpoint Private was established in 2008 by 31 founders.
